Paul was halfway from his loft to the theater when he realized something about 2025. He marveled at how people took cups for granted. While there was some wastefulness to them, in his mind, the utter convenience of grabbing a coffee from any of the readily available establishments and drinking it while walking along the pavement on their way from one place to the next.
Overall, Paul’s experiences in 2025 had been pleasant. He thought it would be interesting to compare notes with Emma, who was born in 1861 and who had shifted to 2024 when she was 19.
Paul had awoken from another dream that had been dominated by The Agency. He had work to do for another mission. Comparing notes earlier with Will Robinson, Paul decided he was working on Mission #3. Will had word that the mission team—Merritt, Kent, Emma, and Hannah—had something to do on Friday.
Paul had to go back to 1965 and arrange accommodations for the team.
When The Agency began Translocating Paul, they altered his birth certificate and established him as a naturalized citizen of the USA so that it seemed he was born in 1960. On paper, he was 85 in 2025.
In 1945 Paul opened a bank account at 1st National Bank of Chicago. That bank became Chase, and Paul still had an account there.
In the dream, The Agency told him they would have funds in his account in 1960 that he should take out and use to prepare things for the mission. He was planning on using his 1945 credentials and betting the teller wouldn’t find anything out of order.
Paul was to acquire lodging for the mission team in a certain motel on a certain day for a three night mission. He’d pay for the room, get the keys, then Translocate to 1984 where he’d  pass the keys and some currency to the mission team.
It was a lot to do, but he was a Time-Traveler. He’d be back in time for his first performance at the Theater.
