Y’all, look at all this snow! In all my 19 years, I ain’t seen much more than this, an’ ever’body says this barely counts as snow. A couple weeks ago, I saw these rain boots at the thrift store. I’ve seen @aimay2003 on Instagram looking so cute in her rain boots, but I never ‘xpected I’d need them so soon!
An’ on account that I ain’t used to snow what that I’m from Vicksburg, Mississippi, I jus’ had to come out an’ walk around. I went to that park nearby where I made a picture o’ me in the swing and walked around. The temperature really isn’t cold enough for it to stay, but I raked up enough in my hand to make some snowballs. I even made a little snowman that was about half a foot tall!
Anyway, Addison said it was normal that people from the south are excited by even a little snow. I kinda hope we get a nice proper snow someday. It would be amazin' to have a white Christmas.
Well, it was a week ago that men and Devon decided we oughtn’t be dating. And tomorrow will be when Merritt come to the theater with a rag doll saying he wanted to be with me.
Last night, he said, “Emma, did you mean it when you said ‘First, last only, and forever?’”
I smiled and nodded an’ said, “Did you mean it when you said that sounded perfect?”
Merritt squeezed my hand and said, “Yes.”
Then he said me and him had a lot to think about in the months to come.
I tol’ him I agreed. It was really nice and left me feeling really good.
Well, I thought I should make a story about that, but then it snowed and I got excited to talk about that, too! Thanks for reading my post.
