Today’s gonna be very laid back. No one has time-shifted that we know of, so far. Looks like a normal day—and I say that irregardless of the fact that my friends and I are time-travelers. (Most of you know all about that… If you are just finding this, the whole, long story is laid out here, in order.)
My first goal is a big one, and it’s sitting here on the table in front of me. I guess I wasn’t paying attention when I grabbed bowl. And also not when I was filling it.
Emma and Addison are working as they do on Saturdays. Jacob is also working. Devon has already headed to the Bronx to meet up with Kent and Shay to do some work on a house. Merritt slept in, and just texted that he was in the shower. We’ll get to the Bronx ASAP and get to work.
While it’s not why we do it, we did mention that we’d be curious to see if The Pay It Forward society or one of their affiliate agencies would hit our bank accounts with a deposit. Kent told me at the Halloween party that he made as much doing volunteer work as he does actually running his company. He’s going to find some electricians to do his company work while he keeps helping Shay with Habitat Housing jobs.
Anyway… that’s the plan for today. Tonight, Merritt and I are going to go get a sit-down dinner somewhere. As I’ve said, we’re taking things slow, partly due to the gaps we’ve experienced when we’ve shifted time.
Things feel pretty good, though, so I guess I’m satisfied.
