2024-10-13 “Moving Day” by Emma (born 1861)

Well I s’pose you done read all what Hannah had to say about Shay puttin' us up in a hotel an’ paying movers to get us to the new ‘partments o’er the theater. I sure was a real surprise.

A whole lot happened since we all met at Shay’s fancy house o’er in West Village. We got sent back to 1880 to save a man from a lynching, then we all came back on Thursday, ‘cept Hannah… I s’pose I should say Hannah-2002 so as you know which of ‘em I mean… She had t’ stay back an’ talk to a man ‘bout science. Then, she come home where she belongs.

Well, the Hannah from 1962… She didn’t tell us that she didn’t shift back. Come to find out, she felt guilty ‘cause she wished she didn’t have to go back. Plus, she wrote on Hannah’s IG that she liked not having to share Merritt’s attention like her and the other Emma does.

Well, for now, ever’thin’s back to normal. (Merritt an ever’body says to say who’s who like I’m fixin’ to write it.)

By normal,I guess I mean:

Merritt-1960, Hannah-2002, Kent-1998, and me are in 2024 again. Kent an’ Hannah was born in this timeline.

Hannah-1962, Emma-1965, Merritt-2000, and Kent-1958 are back in 1880.

The Shays, Jacobs, Addisons, and Devons are back to their normal places, meaning they are on the timeline where they was born.

Now, the best thing to tell about is that we all got moved and mostly unpacked. All the same, we’re gonna get pizza tonight.

But, now me and Hannah are sharing a ‘partment. You’d say we’re roommates, but we got our own bedrooms. Tom made a diagram o’ the place, plus with what he’s gonna add quick—8 bedrooms he’s calling dorms, for next time ever’body time-shifts.

Now, five o’ us live over the theater. Jacob’s place is jus’ down the way a short walk. Shay has her fancy house, an’ Kent lives out in the Bronx, but he’s got a truck so he can get around.

So, that’s about it. Me and Devon are in the thrift store, ‘cause it’s turning colder by the day. I’m gonna get some sweaters and a jacket, then we’ll meet e’r’body for pizza, like I said.
