This is the Emma living in 2024. You can tell ‘cause my clothes are different. That Emma from 1984 living back in 1880 is pictured in clothes what like I woulda worn if I wudn’t so poor. Plus, I'm holding my iPhone.
I sure feel sorry for that version o’ me. Jumping to 2024 was a shock on account of how different things are in an easier way. Them that went back to 1880 have a whole lotta problems t’ face, and what got mentioned on the 24th ain’t hardly none of ‘em.
Well, that’s all I want to say ‘bout that now.
Next I wanna say it’s my day off. What the versions of us in 1880 said about doing good deeds is ‘bout ‘xactly the same thing we come up with for why all this is happening. It don’t ‘xplain why we had to shift time, but it’s all we got to go on now.
Since it’s my day off, I’m gonna go back to that church were we gave away the Halmart sleeping bags and ask ‘em if there’s anything I can do to help with them trying to help people what haven’t got a place to live. They call it a homeless ministry.
I also wanna tell a little about how me an’ Deven are getting on. It was three days back when he walked me to work and took me out for dinner. All I feel like saying right now is I don’t have anything to complain ‘bout it. He’s sure nice and he makes things fun.
He’s gone to Manhattan to meet Mr. Robertson ‘bout starting work, now that he’s got is government papers in order. He’s supposed to start work Monday.
When he gets done, we was gonna go have a picnic but it’s real cloudy an’ might rain. I decided to make a picnic anyway, ‘cept over here in my ‘partment since it’s mostly empty anyway. I think it’ll be nice.
Well, that's all for now. Thanks for reading my stories!
