1880-09-25 “What Lies Ahead” by Merritt (born 2000)

Earlier journal entries have discussed how we are living now and how each of us came to be time-shifted back to 1880. Lacking other diversions, we have long discussed what we should be doing.

Our many hours of discussion have led us to believe that there are three possible ways to account for the time-shifting. As mentioned before, we have:

In 1880 in Memphis

• Emma 1984

• Hannah 1984

• Merritt 2024

In 2024 in NYC

• Emma 1880

• Hannah 2024

• Merritt 1984

In 1984… somewhere

• Emma 2024

• Hannah 1880

• Merritt 1880

So, the three possible ways to explain this are:

• there are three versions of each of us in the same universe at different points in time.

• there are three versions of us in different universes either:

• • at the same point in time.

• • at different points in time.

Science as we understand has theories about time, space, and multiverses. But nothing about multiple versions of the same person; that is seen only in science fiction. Whatever happened is not covered by any science that we know of.

If multiple versions of us are in the same universe at different times, there is a very interesting possibility existing with regard to the versions that time-shifted to 1984 (as we believe there are) and those that shifted to 2024.

Arriving in 1984 at the age of 24 would mean being 64 in 2024. Thus, two versions of each of us could be coexisting in 2024.

Possible, but unknown. In fact, nothing within physics (or more so metaphysics) gives any clue as to why there was a shift and what we are to do, now that we are shifted.

Our only real clue as to what we are to do comes in the form of a check that came to me (Merritt) from some organization in St. Louis called “Benevolence Worldwide.” It was in an amount sufficient to pay my mortgage for a year. A note indicated that it was for “kindness and generosity in opposition to oppression.”

So, unsure of anything else, we feel like some part of the reason we are here is to do good deeds. Being kind and generous… opposing oppression… It’s vague, but it is something.
