I s’pose you know about yesterday. It was good up to a place, then…

I left Merritt with Addison, and that’s when I guess it stopped being good. She was sure trying to get his attention, and she had it. An’ it was sure clear she didn’t want me around.

I went over to see Merritt for breakfast same as normal. We made pancakes an’ it was nice, but I could tell his mind was busy. Only thing important he said was to tell me he didn’t let Addison talk him into going on a date.

I was glad, but his mind was so busy I wondered if maybe he was sad that he didn’t go. After we got everything cleaned up, he said he wanted to study on some things about his job. He’s real scared he’ll get asked to do work he ain’t ready to do.

So, for today, we went sep’rate ways. I’m in my ‘partment, as you see at my little desk. I’ve not got full used to the laptop, but I can go to YouTube on account of Addison telling me ‘bout it.

Merritt says he’ll text me come dinner time an’ says we should go back to the karaoke pizza place went went to with @timetravelerjenn1997 Jenn. He says it’ll be nice to remember and that night, ‘cept we won’t be singing as much.

Yesterday, I wanted to talk serious to Merritt about our situation, but I think I’ll jus’ wait a while ‘til maybe he’s not so worried about work. I jus’ hope Hannah don’t put ideas in his head. An’ from how he tol’ it, he didn’t tell Addison no. Just he said not now.

I s’pose it’s not now for me, too. ‘Cause that was how I told it to him in the first place.

Well, that’s ‘bout all for now.
