So, you might recall a while back Will had a meeting with the partners about Time Travel. Yes, it might be paradigm changing and sure… if science can figure it out… I get it.
They decided to bring in some young, “untainted” physicists to try and make a study of it. Meaning… one more complication for the Time-Travelers.
We met them and had a 2 hour initial meeting today with the two of them; a guy and a girl.
The guy is named David Gregory. Recent PhD from Cornell. He completed a PhD in Experimental Physics with a focus on high-energy particle collisions and their applications in temporal mechanics. Kind of a cute, athletic guy. Friendly enough to come off being a little flirty, but Merritt ran interference pretty quickly…
“Hey, Hannah…” he said when there was a lull, “… Emma and I are going out for dinner tonight. You think you and Kent want to join us? Like double-date?”
Message sent. David received it.
The girl, Anika Rao, is from India, born in Bangalore. She graduated attended Princeton University for her undergraduate studies, majoring in Theoretical Physics.
She completed her PhD in Quantum Mechanics at MIT with a dissertation focusing on theoretical models of temporal causality and the implications of quantum entanglement in non-linear timeframes.
That’s what it said on a little bio Will wrote up. Both are new to NYC since a week ago, and NYC SycCo has been putting them up in a hotel. So… here's a twist…
Will talked to Tom who agreed to have them lease out two of the dorm rooms back at the apartment. So, that… They will be right there to observe the missions first hand.
Oh… by the way, Kent is now fully moved in with Merritt (Devon moved into the 3rd floor of Shay’s townhouse).
Last twist… Kent and Merritt thought we should talk to Paul Charm about moving into a dorm also… let’s call them micro-studio apartments? Anyway, Emma and I thought that was a “might as well” thing, so that might happen too.
